Transport not needed

A 7 km walk of about 2 hours to the Rampa do Caim viewpoint, looking over the Vale do Pati and the Rio Paraguaçu, in Igatu, a district of Andaraí, Bahia.
Rampa do Caim is an old miners' route that ends at a lookout facing the Vale do Pati and the Rio Paraguaçu. The walk covers around 7 km and takes about 2 hours, at a moderate level of effort.
The starting point is Igatu, a district of Andaraí, in the Seabra microregion. Andaraí is one of the six municipalities that share the Chapada Diamantina National Park, along with Ibicoara, Itaetê, Lençóis, Mucugê and Palmeiras. For any stretch inside the park, ICMBio recommends hiring a local guide, since the trails are not signposted.
Visitors staying a few days often pair the hike with other attractions in the same municipality listed by Vivai, such as Cachoeira da Califórnia, Cachoeira dos Pombos e Córrego do Meio and Mina Brejo-Verruga.
There is an active experience in the Vivai catalogue that includes Rampa do Caim.
