Cachoeira Encantada is a 230 m waterfall set between canyons of 400 m, in the municipality of Itaeté, Bahia. Wildlife lives around it, and the route brings sightings of monkeys and rock paintings.

There are two ways to see the fall: from below, at the base of the drop, and from above, along the rim. Those who want a longer visit can stay overnight.

Getting there mixes driving and walking. It is 32 km of road from Itaeté, plus 9 km to the Assentamento Baixão settlement, and then 6 km on foot, averaging 3 h. The physical effort is rated advanced, on demanding trails.
