Gruta da Fumaça is a small cave known for the range of geological formations it gathers in a short stretch. It sits 100 metres from the BR-122 road, which makes getting there one of the simplest among the caves in the area.

The walking route adds up to 600 metres and the visit takes about 40 minutes, at a light level of physical effort. That makes it a good fit for children and older visitors, or for anyone who wants to see a cave without a long hike.

The cave is in Iraquara, a municipality in the Irecê microregion and the Seabra immediate region. By car it is around 10 km from the town of Iraquara, 57 km from Palmeiras, 70 km from Lençóis, 143 km from Ibicoara, 158 km from Andaraí, 189 km from Mucugê and 262 km from Rio de Contas.
