What you will do

Day 1 – We begin the trip from Lençóis, departing after breakfast. We travel by Jeep or motorcycle to the start of the trail, beginning a steep climb in the Serra do Bode, passing by old mining sites and miners' huts until we reach the Poção waterfall for the base camp. We set up tents and have a snack, followed by a swim in the waterfall. After the snack, we continue through the Capivarí River canyon, stopping to cross two natural pools within the canyon to reach the main waterfall. At the end of the canyon, another waterfall precedes the Mixila waterfall. We stop at the Mixila waterfall for a swim in the pool and to contemplate the scenery. We return through the canyon to the base camp at the Poção waterfall, have dinner at the campsite, and enjoy the smooth stone pavement on the riverbanks. Day 2 – We woke up at Poção waterfall and after breakfast we started hiking inside the Capivarí waterfall canyon, with walls 70 to 100 meters high. We stopped for photos and a swim in the waterfall and continued down the mountain through old mining sites to the mouth of the Capivarí and Capivara rivers. We climbed the mountain to the Toca da Onça viewpoint where we stopped for photos and a small snack. We continued crossing the Serra do Veneno mountain range, catching sight of the city of Lençóis until we reached Ribeirão do Meio, a natural rock slide where we stopped for a snack and a swim. We continued towards the city of Lençóis in the late afternoon.
