Cachoeira do Jiló is a set of small rapids that drop into pools good for a swim. On the way there you pass Poço Preto, a dark pool that can be visited on the same outing, so one trip covers two stops.
Access is on foot, along a trail of either 1 km or 3 km depending on the route taken, with light to moderate effort. By car it is 14 km, going through the village of Brumadinho.
