Poço das Traíras is a pool of clear water formed by a waterfall, with a small river beach beside it. The strip of sand gives you somewhere to leave your things and get into the water slowly, and the whole spot works better for a long swim than for a long walk.

Getting there takes light effort, which makes it workable for groups moving at different paces, including families with children or anyone looking for a day without physical demands.

The pool sits in the village of Riacho do Mel, part of the municipality of Iraquara, in the Irecê microregion and the Seabra immediate region. The best window to enjoy it runs from August to October.
